This uncommon print shows a map of Italy and the islands of Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica.

Made by Edward Wells after Sulton Nicholls.

Medium: Etching, handcoloured on handlaid (verge) paper. Watermark: yes.

Sheet size: 49.7 x 37.3 cm (19.57 x 14.69 inch). Image size: 48.5 x 36.5 cm. (19.09 x 14.37 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Fold as published. Small margin. Brown spots. Fold in right. Horizontal folds and one diagonal folds. Smudges on reverse. Print on reverse. Tear in middle restored. . General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
