This original antique plate shows the Battle of Jemappes (6 November 1792) in the Austrian Netherlands (now Belgium), near Mons during the War of the First Coalition, part of the French Revolutionary Wars.

Steel engraving on wove (vellin) paper.

Condition: good, given age. Light foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
