This original antique plate shows the Battle of Castiglione, a French Army of Italy under General Napoleon Bonaparte attacked an army of Habsburg Monarchy led by Feldmarschall Dagobert Sigmund von Wurmser on 5 August 1796.

Steel engraving on wove (vellin) paper.

Condition: good, given age. Some foxing. Left edge frayed and crease in margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
