This original antique plate shows the Battle of Amberg, fought on 24 August 1796, resulted in an Habsburg victory by Archduke Charles over a French army led by Jean-Baptiste Jourdan.
Made by Anonymous after von Rothenburg.
Steel engraving on wove (vellin) paper.
Condition: very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
