Signed with pencil on the cloth that hangs from the basket C. Penning.

Made by ‘Pieter Aart Penning’ after own design. Pieter Aart Penning (1791 – 1844 The Hague) was a Dutch house painter and an art painter and draughtsman. He was a pupil at the Haagse Tekenacademie from 1803.

Condition: Good, given age. Some smudges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
