Antique drawing, untitled. A pencil drawing of the edge of a lake in the Netherlands, with a hay stack and a small boat in the foreground, a small sailing boat on the lake. On the verso a sketched portrait of an olderly man smoking a cigar. An ink stamp in the lower edge identifies this as originating from the workshop of C. Vreedenburgh.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after ‘Cornelis Vreedenburgh’. Cornelis Vreedenburgh (Woerden, 1880-1946, Laren) was a Dutch painter and occasional printmaker, and a member of the Laren School of artists.

Condition: Very good, given age. Paper tape in the margins on the verso. A few faint stains in the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
