Crayon / black pencil on laid paper (attached to laid carrier).
Sheet size: 35,8 x 44 cm. (14,1 x 17,3 inch). Image size: 34,5 x 41,5 cm. (13,6 x 16,3 inch).

We have not been able to trace the artist and are not sure about the spelling of this name. The drawing is well executed and could be a design for an illustration as well. Age estimate 19th.c. Any input appreciated. State: Unique item. Provenance: Acquired at an antique shop in Madrid, Spain. This item has not been fully researched / described. Please inquire for possible additional information.

Condition: Good, given age. The drawings paper is rather brittle and has been attached to strong hand laid paper for strengtening. Some browning and chipping along paper edge. Old fold lines, with some paper separation, which has now been backed by carrier. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
