This painting in colour shows the typical Batuan style from Bali, Indonesia. A man grasps the neck of a woman with one had and is holding a kris, dagger in the other hand. To restrain the woman further he pushes one foot on her lap. Another woman is trying to catch the falling woman being attacked. Two man with spears are looking back to the scene in agony. We see many animals in the beautiful forest decorated with plants, like a swine, two apes. a tiger, a deer and birds.
