Biography engraver: Maria Baesten Ommeganck (Antwerpen 1784-1857) was a painter. She was a daughter and pupil of Balthasar Paul Ommeganck. She worked in the style of her father. She preferred romantic landscapes and animals. She is often confused with her aunt Marie-Jacqueline Myin Ommeganck.
