Medium: Drawing (watercolour) on hand laid (verge) paper. Watermark: IV. Monogram of I Villedary, Jean Villedary, papermaker in France from 1668-1758. This paper was also made in abundance in the Netherlands in the second half of the 18th century.
Sheet size: 19.2 x 29.5 cm (7.56 x 11.61 inch). Image size: 18.5 x 28.3 cm. (7.28 x 11.14 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Some staining and creasing. 2 Pinholes at top from binding. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
