Each volume contains 12 double page woodblock prints to serve as subjects for practicing tansai drawing. Artists and Engravers: Author(s): Imao Keinen. Illustrated by: Imao Keinen (original name: Imao Isaburo, 1845-1924) was one of the most popular bird and flower artists of the Meiji era. He taught at the Kyoto school of painting. He spent a great effort in teaching and was known to be truly concerned with the progress of his students.
Condition: Very good, given age. Front cover soiled, rear cover detached. The prints clean, foxing on the final page (colophon).
