Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de banden van het borstbeen en van het voorste eindstuk des sleutelbeens, alsmede het ribbekraakbeen” (the ligaments of the sternum and the front end of the clavicle, and the rib cartilage). Plate XXV, vol. 1, from: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
