Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate “ter verklaring van het maaksel en van de ontwikkeling van de zelfstandigheid der Beenderen” (of the make and development of the independent bones. femur, heel bone, parietal bone). Plate VIII, vol. 1, from: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
