Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “een geleedte des buiks en des bekkens, van af den twaalfden ruggewervel tot aan het bovenste gedeelte der onderste ledematen” (the lymphatic system in part of the abdomen and pelvis, from the twelfth vertebra to the upper part of the lower limbs). Plate CXLI from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
