Copperplate engraving/etching with hand colouring on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 20 x 17,2 cm. (7,9 x 6,8 inch). Image size: 18,3 x 14,3 cm. (7,2 x 5,6 inch).

Made by ‘Mallet’ after an anonymous artist. John Luffman (1756-1846),British engraver. Alain Manesson Mallet (1630 – 1706) was a French cartographer and engineer. Jacobus Harrewijn (1660-1727): Dutch engraver and etcher of topographical and decorative prints.
Condition: Good, given age. One plate with original folds as issued. Fort Lillo print has brown spot lower right. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
