Made by ‘Dirk Jurriaan Sluyter’ after ‘B. van Hove’. Dirk Jurriaan Sluyter (1811-1886) was a Dutch etcher, engraver and draughtsman. Bartholomeus-Johannes van Hove (1790-1880) was a Dutch architecture and genre painter from The Hague. He was a pupil of Broekenheymer. He became painter of the The Hague theatre.
