Description
These prints show a view Queen Mary’s bedchamber and Queen Mary’s closet in Holyroad house, Edinburgh Scotland. Text with the chamber: ‘At the upper end of the chamber is the small closet in which Rizzio supped with the Queen on the night of the murder. The door near the entrance opens on the secret stairs by which the assassins found admission’. The other print says: ‘Scene of the murder of Rizzio’
