Biography engraver: Schelte Adamsz. Bolswert (c. 1586-1659) was a renowned Flemish engraver who was known for his work after paintings by Peter Paul Rubens and Anthony van Dyck.

Biography artist: Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641) was a leading Flemish Baroque artist who became the court painter to King Charles I of England.
