Biography engraver: Adriaen Collaert (c. 1560–1618) was a Flemish engraver from Antwerp, part of the renowned Collaert family of printmakers. He produced numerous engravings after leading artists of his time and contributed significantly to the dissemination of religious and allegorical imagery in the late 16th century.
Biography artist: Maerten de Vos (1532–1603) was a prominent Flemish painter and draughtsman, known for his religious compositions and designs for prints. His work played an important role in Antwerp print culture, especially through collaborations with engravers and publishers.
