Biography engraver: Joseph Heideloff II (1747-1830) was a German-Austrian landscape artist, draftsman, and etcher born in Mainz. After relocating to Vienna in 1770, he studied at the Vienna Academy and became a full member in 1781. Between 1793 and 1806, he produced numerous landscape and architectural views of Lower Austria.
