Biography engraver: Regina Katherina Schoenecker (c. 1762-c. 1818) was a German printmaker known for her delicate etchings after Dutch and German masters. Active in the late 18th century, she often worked in aquatint and is known for refined landscape reproductions. She worked with Marie Christine Prestel in Frankfurt.

Biography artist: Jacob Cats (1741-1799) was a Dutch painter, draughtsman and printmaker, celebrated for his finely detailed landscapes, often depicting rural scenes with cottages, trees and waterways.
