Drawn after an image from ‘Sermonus adHeremitas et at alios.’ published by Voncentii Benalius, Venice, 1492. This drawing was part of a collection of similar religious drawings of unknown probably Dutch origin. Possibly made in a monastery, by monks or nuns. Based on watermark it can be dated to c. 1920.
