Biography engraver: Willem van Nieulandt II (1584?1635) was a Flemish artist, poet, and engraver known for his collaborations with other artists such as Paul Bril. His engravings often focused on Italianate landscapes, classical ruins, and mythological themes.
Biography artist: Paul Bril (1554?1626) was a Flemish painter and draughtsman active in Rome. He was known for his detailed and idealized landscapes and frequently worked in etching as well as oil painting. His work influenced the development of landscape art in both Italy and the North.
