‘J.E. MARCUS F. FEBRUARY 1810’

– A group of disparate study figures: a man sketching a nude from a drawing board, a woman bending over a large wooden tub with laundry tools on her back, and two additional male busts ? one in deep thought, the other rubbing his eyes. Some figures are outlined only, suggesting an exploratory or didactic composition.
