BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Set of six lithographic prints from the “Der vollkommne LANDSCHAFTSZEICHNER” series by J. J. Wagner, published in Leipzig, 1802. This set misses “Tab. 7.” but includes “Tab. 1”, “Tab. 2”, “Tab. 3”, “Tab. 4”, “Tab. 5”, “Tab. 6.”, and “Tab. 8.”.
Biography engraver: Johann Jakob Wagner (1766-1834) was a German landscape artist and engraver, known for his instructional prints teaching drawing techniques, particularly trees and natural formations.
