Description
Portrait of Elias Taddel (1601-1660) a German theological scholar, active in Rostock and Amsterdam, holding an hourglass, with a large open book in front of him. He is seated at a table with a small ink pot. The engraving shows strong detail in both the figure and surrounding elements.

Condition: excellent, given age. Excellent condition with sharp details. Loosely attached to carrier, indicating careful preservation. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
