Engraving/etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 24,5 x 37,5 cm. Image size: 18,8 x 29,8 cm.

From: ‘Toonneel van China (…)’, by Athanasius Kircherus (Kircher) ed. published in Amsterdam 1667.

Made by an anonymous engraver after Athanasius Kircher.

Condition: Very good, given age. Edges slightly browned. Edges with an occasional tiny tear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
