This original antique plate shows the Battle of Caldiero, Italy on 30 October 1805, the French Armee d’Italie under Marshal Andre Massena against an Austrian army under the command of Archduke Charles, Duke of Teschen.

Steel engraving on wove (vellin) paper.

Condition: good, given age. Paper slightly browned. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
