This original antique plate shows the Battle of Trebbia or the Napoleonic Battle of the Trebbia (17?20 June 1799) near the Trebbia River in northern Italy between the joint Russian and Habsburg army.

Steel engraving on wove (vellin) paper.

Condition: fair, given age. Several impefections. Edges with tears, paper slightly browned and light foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
