Description

Etching / engraving on hand laid, (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 26,2 x 19 cm. (10,3 x 7,5 inch). Image size: 18,2 x 12,5 cm. (7,2 x 4,9 inch).

This attractive print was published in the18th century by Pierre Jean Mariette (1694-1774).

Made by ‘Brothers Perelle’ after own design. This plate by one of the brothers Adam (1640-1695), Gabriel (c. 1603-1677) or Nicolas Perelle (1631-c.1695).

Condition: Good, given age. On the left some stains. Creases in the corners. Horizontal fold in upper margin General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
