Sheet size: 54 x 40,5 cm. (21,3 x 15,9 inch). Image size: 43 x 34,5 cm. (16,9 x 13,6 inch).

This attractive print originates from ‘Civitatus Orbis Terrarum’ published by Braun & Hogenberg in 1582. Georg Braun (1541-1622) and Frans Hogenberg (1535-1590).

Made by ‘Frans Hogenberg’ after ‘Various sources’.

Condition: Good, given age. Brown spot left margin, brownish edges not effecting the image, some tears in lower margin been restored, two wormholes in the sea below, both lower corners remains of previous soiling, fold as published. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
