Antique print, titled: ”D. Balduinus Catzius.” – Portrait of Boudewijn Catz or Cats. Boudewijn Cats (ca. 1601-1663) was apostolic vicar of the Dutch Mission in Roman Catholic tradition and Archbishop of Utrecht. Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Francois van Bleyswijck’ after an anonymous artist. Francois van Bleyswijck (1671-1746) was an engraver from Leiden.

Condition: Good, given age. Small stains in print and margin. Offsetting from opposite page and folding. Print attached to carrier sheet. Folds and creases in print. Small tear in right paper edge, extending 3.5 cm into image (with old restoration). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
