Antique print, titled: ‘Jacobus Callot in Coll.ne Com.is Max.ni Gini Bononie Asserv.um.’ – This print shows a portrait of Jacob Callot. Jacques Callot (Nancy 1592-1635) was a famous baroque printmaker and draftsman from Lorraine / present day France. He was active in Italy employed by Cosimo II de Medici until 1621. Condition: Good, given age. Some small stains in margin. Paper damage on the rear, not visible on the front. Collection mark on the rear. Pencil annotations on front and rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
