Antique print, titled: ‘Mainz – Mayence.’ – A view of the city Mainz, Germany, along the Rhine. Original old antique print originates from ‘Die Rhein und die Rheinlande.’ published in Germany by G. G. Lange, 1842.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Joseph Meyer’ after ‘B. Schwarz’. Joseph Maximilian Kolb (active around 1820-1850) was a German copper and steel engraver. We have been unable to further identify the artist.

Condition: Good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
