Geurt van Dijk (b.1941) is a Dutch artist from Heteren. He studied at the Arnhem Academy. He has a broad focus as a sculptor, graphic artist, lithographer, painter and draughtman. His style is considered ‘academic manierism’ with the human body as central theme. He first worked in his home province Gelderland, but later moved to Eppenhuizen, Groningen. He became a professor at the Minerva Academy in Groningen. His work is regularly exposed. In 1991 he received the ‘Gelderland Grafiekprijs’.
