Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “de achterzijde der dije en des beens en van het gehele beloop der zitbeenszenuw” (the rear of a thigh and leg, en the entire course of the ischial nerve). Plate CXIX from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
