Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “een gedeelte van de werktuigen der pisafscheiding en der mannelijke teeldelen” (part of the parts of the body pertaining to the excretion of urine, and the male reproduction organs). Plate LXXIV, vol. 1, from: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
