Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de holte en de grondvlakte van het bekkeneel (basis cranii)” (the cavity and ground surface of the skull). Plate XIV, vol. 1, from: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
