Engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 24,5 x 38 cm. (9,6 x 15 inch). Image size: 17,3 x 11,8 cm. (6,8 x 4,6 inch).

Engraved for “Bankes’s new system of geography”.

Made by ‘Charles Crignion’ after an anonymous artist.

Condition: Good, given age. Faintly discoloured. Some tiny stains in the margin, engravings not affected. Creasing in the lower margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
