Print Description
Subject: Antique print, titled: ”Matth: 2. v. 14 (…).” – A sheet with 8 scenes from the Bible; Matthew and Mark. These 8 plates were originally printed to be cut and published in an 18th century Dutch religious work.
Condition: Good, given age. Edges with an occasional tiny tear not affecting images. Folds between the plates. A few creases. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Copperplate engraving and etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
