By:  Gerrit Lamberts (1776-1850) was a Dutch watercolorist, draughtsman and engraver. He is known for landscapes, architectural views, and his watercolors of art galleries. In 1825 he became curator of the Rijksmuseum, which was then housed in the Trippenhuis.
