Made by ‘Jan Vrolijk’ after own design. Johannes Martinus Vrolijk (The Hague 1846-1894) was a Dutch watercolorist, etcher and painter. He was initially trained by his brother Adriaan, and followed this with a formal education at the The Hague academy for visual arts. Many of his works depict farmers and cattle in the field. Vrolijk was a member of Pulchri studio.
Condition: Good, given age. Some scattered foxing in the margin edges (not affecting image). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
