Made by ‘Johannes Glauber’ after ‘Gerard de Lairesse’. Johannes Glauber (1656-1726) originated from Amsterdam. He spent several years in Italy. He is a typical artist of the late 17th. Century with very classical, arcadian landscapes. Gerard de Lairesse (1640-1711) was a Belgian/Dutch Golden Age engraver/etcher, painter and art theorist, born in Liege, moved in 1660 to Berlin, in 1665 to Amsterdam and moved to The Hague around 1684.

Condition: Good, given age. Light creasing, soiling and some stains. Some worm holes in left margin. A few small tears in paper edges. Rust stains in margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
