Medium: Handcoloured etching / engraving. on hand laid (verge) paper.

Condition: good, given age. Some thumbing in the right edge of the sheet. Paper edges browned. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

This print originates from Lallement’s book ‘La Mythologie en Estampes, ou Figures des Divinites fabuleuses’ (Paris, 1811).

Biography engraver: Jacques Louis Lecerf (Le Cerf) was an eighteenth-nineteenth century French engraver. Jean-Florens Defraine (1754-?) was a French painter.
