Made by Anonymous after own design.

Medium: Engraving on handlaid (verge) paper.

Sheet size: 43 x 33 cm (16.93 x 12.99 inch). Image size: 33.5 x 28 cm. (13.19 x 11.02 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Folds as published. Folds in corners. Creases in upper and right margin. Tears in lower and upper margin restored. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

This attractive print was published in Amsterdam by Tirion in c.1738.

Biography artist: Isaak Tirion, a Dutch publisher in Amsterdam, was born 1705. He produced serveral Atlases and Dutch town plans. The maps mainly based on those of Guillaume de l’Isle. He died in 1765.
