Made by ‘Jakob van der Schley’ after ‘Charles Nicolas Cochin (II)’. Jakob van der Schley (Amsterdam 1715-1779) was a Dutch draughtsman and engraver. He studied under Bernard Picart and became heavily influenced by his style. Charles-Nicolas Cochin (22 February 1715 – 29 April 1790) was a French engraver, designer, writer, and art critic

Condition: Very good, given age. Broad margins, solid paper, very good printing, slighly brown in margins, brown stain in left lower corner, image not affected. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
