This print show a map in the area of ‘s Hertogenbosch, Grave and Cuijk in Brabant, in the Netherlands. Amongst the city, villages one can see the roads, castles, monasteries, lakes and dunes.

Medium: Engraving on handlaid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 35 x 30.7 cm (13.78 x 12.09 inch). Image size: 32.3 x 28.3 cm. (12.72 x 11.14 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Folds as published. Creases and some folds in margins. Stains in right margin. Small margin left and paperloss. Tear restored in upper margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This attractive print was published in Amsterdam by Tirion in c.1738.
Biography artist: Isaak Tirion, a Dutch publisher in Amsterdam, was born 1705. He produced serveral Atlases and Dutch town plans. The maps mainly based on those of Guillaume de l’Isle. He died in 1765.
