Signed, numbered (?) and dated in the lower right: “Veldhoen X ’64”. Provenance: From a private collection, purchased directly fom the artist (as attested by the collection card included with the print).
Made by ‘Aat Veldhoen’ after own design. Arie Johannes (“Aat”) Veldhoen (1934-) was a Dutch painter and draughtsman. However, from the 1960’s he started drawing directly on offset plates, and printing these as rotaprints. These were sold directly from a cargo bike in Amsterdam. He is mainly known for the erotic prints he made in the early 1960’s, although Veldhoen is still active.
Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
