Made by an anonymous engraver after Peter Stent. Peter Stent (c. 1613–1665) was a seventeenth-century London printseller, who from the early 1640s until his death ran one of the biggest printmaking businesses of the day. He was the first English printseller with a comprehensive stock. He dealt in a wide range of subjects that reflected the concerns of the world. Alexander Globe compiled a catalogue raissonée in 1985.

Condition: Good, given age. Narrow or no margins. Minor repair in the middle, hardly visible. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
