Biography engraver: Braham Genoels II or Abraham Genouil (nickname: Archimedes) (1640-1723) was a Flemish Baroque painter, draughtsman, engraver and tapestry designer. He is now mainly known for his landscape paintings, drawings and prints. He had an international career that saw him work in Paris, Rome and Antwerp.

Biography artist: Adam Frans van der Meulen (1632–1690) was a Flemish painter and draughtsman best known for his military campaigns, landscapes and topographical views. He served Louis XIV and documented many of the king’s military victories. His landscape designs were frequently engraved and widely distributed.
